Basketball Recap: Temple Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

Temple Baptist Academy played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 79-28 loss at the hands of Mount Pisgah Christian Academy. The Royal Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-10.

Mount Pisgah Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kaylynn Walls led the charge by dropping a double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds. What's more, Walls also racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Brooklyn Foster was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 19 boards.

Temple Baptist Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7.
