With a playoff win on the line, Wheeler rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Ingomar Falcons 14-6. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Wheeler's sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-8. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Ingomar, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 13-10 record.

As of now, neither Wheeler nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
