Volleyball Recap: Academy for Classical Education Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Academy for Classical Education, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Jasper County Hurricanes on Tuesday. The Gryphons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hurricanes, too.

Academy for Classical Education never let Jasper County on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-17.

Academy for Classical Education has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season. As for Jasper County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.

Looking ahead, Academy for Classical Education will square off against Baldwin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jasper County, they will take on Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
