Recap: Gateway Christian Warriors vs. Roy/Mosquero Longhorn
The Gateway Christian Warriors and the Roy/Mosquero Longhorn squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but sadly the Gateway Christian Warriors had to settle for second. They fell 46-38 to the Longhorn. Gateway Christian's defeat signaled the end of their 21-game winning streak dating back to last season.
Despite the loss, Gateway Christian still got an impressive performance from Rayf Fulkerson, who picked up 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Jackson Fudge was his usual excellent self, picking up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground for Roy/Mosquero. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Clavel, who threw for 143 yards and two touchdowns.
Gateway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Roy/Mosquero, they pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
Gateway Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Roy/Mosquero also has no future games currently scheduled.
