Basketball Recap: Cheney Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cheney can now relate to. They fell just short of the University Titans by a score of 68-66 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Blackhawks have suffered since February 8, 2024.

Cheney dropped their record down to 7-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for University, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Cheney does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. University knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully North Central likes a good challenge.
