Basketball Game Preview: University Christian Barracudas vs. North Hills Christian Eagles

The University Christian Barracudas will square off against the North Hills Christian Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

University Christian is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were beaten by Westminster Catawba Christian 86-10. The game marked the Barracudas' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, North Hills Christian played a tough match on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Lee Park Prep and fell 75-42. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-21.

University Christian will have to keep a close watch on Adarion Hawkins and Jacob Strickland, a pair of players who had a big impact on North Hills Christian's prior game. Hawkins posted 12 points, while Strickland earned ten points. Gio Ortiz was another key player, putting up eight points.

North Hills Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for University Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
