Volleyball Recap: Hilliard Davidson's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Hilliard Davidson won the last time they faced Trimble and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Tomcats. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wildcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Elle Eckert paced Hilliard Davidson's offense, picking up 11 kills. Eckert got some help from Kaitlyn Chenault and her 15 assists. Eckert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hilliard Davidson's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Trimble, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Hilliard Davidson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Olentangy on the 6th. As for Trimble, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Bexley on the 6th.
