Las Cruces won the last time they faced Centennial, and Bethzy Quinones did her part to make sure it happened again. The Las Cruces Bulldawgs enjoyed a cozy 41-27 win over the Centennial Hawks on Wednesday which was due in part to Quinones, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Centennial's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Walter, who posted five points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave Walter a new career-high in boards. Skyler De La Cruz also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Las Cruces is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-8 record this season. Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 12-15.

Las Cruces didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-42 defeat against Mayfield on the 28th. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
