Matthew Starr posted a new career-high in doubles on Thursday. He went 3-for-4 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Valley Lutheran last Saturday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Starr is becoming a predictor of Anthem Prep's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-8 when he doesn't).
