Channing Call banks it in for last-second victory.
The Trent Tucker Rule in the NBA states that a player needs at least .3 seconds to catch and shoot.
Channing Call of
Northwood (Saltville, Va.) had .2 seconds to spare, we suppose.
Call hauled in a baseline inbound pass at the top of the 3-point arc Thursday against
Chilhowie (Va.) and let it fly with his team down 72-70 and just a half of a second left on the game clock. He let if fly and it banked in, giving the Panthers an improbable 73-72 triumph.
