Volleyball Recap: Hamshire-Fannett Comes Up Short

Hamshire-Fannett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the West Fork Gators. The Longhorns were not able to make up for their loss to the Gators from their previous meeting back in October of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-20.

West Fork had a senior duo take command as Addison Lewis had 12 digs and Allison Lewis had ten assists and six digs.

Hamshire-Fannett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for West Fork, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hamshire-Fannett has already played their next match (against Splendora), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Fork, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Lumberton on the 15th.
