Softball Recap: North Pole Falls Short Against Ranked Monroe Catholic

North Pole faced Monroe Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Patriots took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

North Pole's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-10. As for Monroe Catholic, their record now sits at 7-3.

While North Pole had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
