Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 16-16 at halftime, St. Joseph was not quite Waterford's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 43-28 to the Ravens. The Jayhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ravens apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Despite the loss, St. Joseph still got an impressive performance from Eliza Berg, who posted eight points and six boards.

Waterford's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenley Carter, who scored 11 points. Suzy Reardon was another key player, putting up ten points.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Waterford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

St. Joseph has already played their next contest, a 53-32 loss against Intermountain Christian on the 3rd. As for Waterford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 32-15 victory against Freedom Prep Academy on the 3rd.
