Softball Recap: Madison Takes a Loss

Madison came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-0 to the Bellbrook Golden Eagles. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Mohawks were not able to get on the board.

Madison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Bellbrook, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Madison will take on Eaton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mohawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for Bellbrook, they will square off against Xenia Nazarene Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
