Buchanan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 win over Centennial. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Golden Hawks: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Clovis East waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Bears a 4-0 shutout.

The result came thanks to Chloe Solis's shutout, as she gave up just two hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Clovis East's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carly Arredondo, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Another was Gabriella Valdez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

Buchanan's victory bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Clovis East, their win bumped their record up to 17-7-1.

Buchanan couldn't quite get it done against Clovis East in their previous meeting on Tuesday as they fell 4-0. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
