Newberry had won three straight road games and Brandy Whitfield did her part to make it four on Tuesday. The Newberry Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Buchholz Bobcats, sneaking past 51-48 thanks in part to Whitfield, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 21 points and four steals. Her evening made it 14 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Beaulieu, who posted seven points in addition to six assists and five boards. What's more, she also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2023.
