Spotswood extended their postseason success on Thursday against Fluvanna County. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Flying Flucos 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Trailblazers as they're now sitting on six straight.

The team relied heavily on Camden Blank, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Brady Hoover was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Spotswood hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.

Spotswood pushed their record up to 20-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Fluvanna County, they moved to 16-5 with that loss, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.
