Softball Recap: McKeesport Tigers vs. Gateway Gators
McKeesport had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Gateway Gators with a sharp 12-5 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-2 two weeks ago.
Ryenn Thomas was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
