Volleyball Recap: Putnam Vo-Tech Gets the Win

The Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers earned a 3-1 victory over the Wahconah Regional Warriors on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.

Putnam Vo-Tech had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 26-24, 27-25, 25-18.

Putnam Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Wahconah Regional, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

Putnam Vo-Tech will be playing in front of their home fans against Springfield Renaissance at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Wahconah Regional, they will welcome Chicopee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
