Basketball Recap: Phoenix Day School for the Deaf's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Phoenix Day School for the Deaf had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 33-25 win over the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels on Saturday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 39-32 back in December of 2024.

Phoenix Day School for the Deaf's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from David Garcia, who posted four points in addition to 11 steals and eight boards. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Donovan Etheridge was another key player, putting up eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
