South Gibson never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lexington Tigers with a sharp 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

South Gibson has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games.
