Basketball Game Recap: Hall Titans vs. Southington Blue Knights

The Hall Titans lost against the Southington Blue Knights back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hall was the victim of a rough 55-29 loss at the hands of Southington. Hall has struggled against Southington recently, as their game on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Southington was led to victory by Lily Cooper and Bethany Borges. Cooper scored 13 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Borges dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Borges scored 15 or more points. Katie Doherty was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.

Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Southington, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Hall will head out on the road to face off against New Britain at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Southington, they will be playing at home against East Hartford at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
