Softball Recap: Kalida Comes Up Short

Kalida lost against Continental back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Pirates, falling 29-2. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bailey Basinger was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Kalida's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Continental, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kalida will venture away from home to take on McComb at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Continental, they will head out to square off against Upper Scioto Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
