             Licking Valley and Tri-Valley are an even 5-5 against one another  since September of 2014, but  not for long. The Licking Valley Panthers will play host again  on Monday to welcome the Tri-Valley Scotties, where the match is scheduled  at 5:00  p.m.
 Licking Valley is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Licking Heights just ended the team's  four-game winning streak  on Thursday. They fell  3-1 to the Hornets. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now lost four in a row.
 Licking Valley started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 25-12,  25-23.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Kendall Tucker, who  had 15  digs and two  aces.  Sophia Stokes was another key player,  getting 12  digs and four  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Licking Valley  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 12  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in six consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Tri-Valley got the win against John Glenn  on Thursday by a conclusive  3-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Scotties.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14,  25-19.
 Licking Valley's loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-9. As for Tri-Valley, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 7-12.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Monday's  match:  Licking Valley hasn't let much over the net this season,  having  averaged 6.8  blocks per game.
