McClatchy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Atwater Falcons with a sharp 26-6 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

McClatchy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daisy Throckmorton, who threw for 219 yards and four touchdowns, and also rushed for 49 yards. Throckmorton is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: she's passed for at least three every time she's taken the field this season. 80 of Throckmorton's passing yards were hauled in by Savanna Hill, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.

McClatchy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Rihanna Sharma, Laila Clark, and London Lee picked up one apiece.

McClatchy's record now sits at 5-0. As for Atwater, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

McClatchy has already played their next game, a 13-0 defeat against Orange Lutheran on the 30th. As for Atwater, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 40-12 win against Turlock on the 2nd.
