Recap: Platte Valley Broncos vs. DSST: Montview Knights
On Saturday, Platte Valley ended up a good deal behind DSST: Montview and lost 67-50.
When it comes to explaining why Platte Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Braylon Edstrom. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points along with 9 rebounds. The game was Edstrom's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kody Reusink, who scored 2 points along with 10 rebounds.
Platte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for DSST: Montview, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Platte Valley is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Berthoud at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. Berthoud has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 364 points over their last five matchups. As for DSST: Montview, they will head out on the road to face off against Manual at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
