Volleyball Recap: Monday's Loss Ends Omaha Nation's Winning Streak

After flying high against Winnebago last Tuesday, Omaha Nation came back down to earth. The Chiefs came up short against the Bancroft-Rosalie Panthers on Monday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-17.

Bancroft-Rosalie can attribute much of their success to Leah Beaudette, who had 14 digs and one assist. Those 14 digs gave Beaudette a new career-high.

With the loss, Omaha Nation broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 11-4. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Omaha Nation has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Walthill on the 30th. As for Bancroft-Rosalie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Homer on the 30th.
