Basketball Recap: Lake Comes Up Short

Lake lost against Newton two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lake Hornets lost 76-55 to the Newton Tigers. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Newton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Clarkdale the next time they take the court. Lake will host Clarkdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Newton will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
