Volleyball Recap: Cincinnati Country Day Takes a Loss

Cincinnati Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Roger Bacon Spartans. The Nighthawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Cincinnati Country Day was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 13 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.

Cincinnati Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Roger Bacon, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Cincinnati Country Day didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Indian Hill on the 23rd. As for Roger Bacon, they will challenge Mercy McAuley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
