After only one run in their last contest, Hoxie made sure to put some runs up on the board against Brinkley on Monday. The Hoxie Mustangs blew past the Brinkley Tigers 11-1. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Logan Light was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Hoxie is undefeated when Light allowsone or fewer earned runs, but 0-3 otherwise. Light was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.
