Northern extended the longest winning streak in 4A PAC 6 this week by beating East Chapel Hill, 34-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Hillside led the league in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Jordan.
The Wildcats' dynamic duo of Ben Jones and Jackson Boyer proved tough for Northern to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Jones threw for 55 yards and Boyer had 41 yards receiving. Will Buckley helped East Chapel Hill's passing attack out by catching three balls for 19 yards.
East Chapel Hill's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jones has thrown for 1527 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Buckley has 34 catches for 513 yards. Colby Owens leads the league in rushing with 405 yards.
A big matchup in 4A PAC 6 this week will be when East Chapel Hill takes on Southern. Bill Renner's team is in third place, while the Spartans are in fourth place.
