Hume-Fogg came tearing into Friday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Valor College Prep Wildcats 81-34. The Blue Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hume-Fogg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Nwoye, who went 9 of 12 to rack up 22 points and three steals. What's more, Nwoye also posted a 75% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alonzo Rhodes, who went 6 for 12 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Hume-Fogg pushed their record up to 20-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Valor College Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hume-Fogg will face off against Maplewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hume-Fogg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Maplewood likes a good challenge. As for Valor College Prep, they will take on Glencliff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valor College Prep is facing Glencliff at the right time seeing as Glencliff is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
