Softball Recap: Waldron Bulldogs vs. Dardanelle Sand Lizards

Waldron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 19-2 walloping at the hands of the Dardanelle Sand Lizards. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Waldron of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

For Dardanelle's part, Jaysa Daniel made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Daniel has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive pitching appearances. Daniel was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
