Football Game Preview: Lowell Catholic vs. Georgetown

Lowell Catholic will challenge Georgetown on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Lowell Catholic beat East Boston 22-16 last Friday. No one put up better numbers for Lowell Catholic than senior Peter Sawyer, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 107 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Georgetown won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Tech Boston Academy/Boston International/Henderson Inclusion 35-34.
