Jacksonville Christian Academy skates past Georgia School for the Deaf with ease

The Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Georgia School for the Deaf 76-25 at home. Considering Jacksonville Christian Academy has won three games by more than 39 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jacksonville Christian Academy was led to victory by Jesse Gannaway and Noah Lee. Gannaway scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals, while Lee dropped a double-double on 17 points and 26 rebounds. The contest was Lee's tenth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Dowdey, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals.

Jacksonville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Georgia School for the Deaf, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jacksonville Christian Academy will face off against Coosa Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Georgia School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dalton Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 23, 2024.
