After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tecumseh, Adrian was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Lincoln Railsplitters by a score of 2-0. The Maples have beaten the Railsplitters the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Railsplitters has come to flipping the script.

Lincoln's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Rachel Pomorski, who had 11 digs and one assist, and Brooklyn Troy, who had seven digs and two aces. Troy has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last seven times she's played.

Adrian's victory bumped their record up to 13-18-1. As for Lincoln, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.

Adrian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Chelsea on the 25th. As for Lincoln, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ypsilanti on the 25th.
