Soccer Recap: Corbin Has No Trouble Against Hazard

Hazard kept up with Corbin until halftime on Saturday, but afterwards: not so much. The Redhounds were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs. That three goal margin sets a new team best for Corbin this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Corbin and bumps their season record up to 3-2-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two games. As for Hazard, they moved to 4-2-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Corbin will challenge South Laurel at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hazard, they will square off against Buckhorn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
