Volleyball Recap: Grant Community's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Grant Community hadn't done well against Carmel recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Corsairs. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Grant Community got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Eros Rabor out in front who had three digs and one block. What's more, Rabor racked up 20 assists, the most he's had over his last five contests.

Grant Community's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Carmel, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.

Grant Community has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Cristo Rey St. Martin on the 28th. As for Carmel, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Marian Catholic on the 29th.
