It was a good run, but Berkmar unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Peachtree Ridge Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9.

Berkmar's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Peachtree Ridge, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.

Berkmar has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against North Gwinnett on the 16th. As for Peachtree Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Norcross on the 16th.
