Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Torrance's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Torrance extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Gahr. Their defense stepped up to hand the Gahr Gladiators a 1-0 shutout. Give the Tartars' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Isaak Ramirez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Torrance has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. Gahr's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-4.

Coming up, Torrance will head out on the road to take on Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Warren will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Torrance surely won't give up without a fight. Gahr does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
