Baseball Game Preview: Burns Bulldogs vs. Tuscola Mountaineers

Burns is on a seven-game streak of home wins, while Tuscola is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Burns Bulldogs will host the Tuscola Mountaineers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Burns barely beat West Lincoln the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went Burns' way against West Lincoln on Wednesday as Burns made off with a 10-2 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Tuscola made easy work of North Henderson on Tuesday and carried off a 9-2 victory.

Bo West and Riley Shuler did most of the damage at the plate: West scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3, while Shuler scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Evan Conner, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Tuscola's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Burns, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
