Soccer Game Preview: Cascade vs. Arlington

Cascade is 0-4 against Arlington since September of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bruins will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Cascade has given up an average of 3.9 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Cascade is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Lake Stevens on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Vikings. While losing is never fun, Cascade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 247th, while Lake Stevens are ranked 28th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arlington). Their defense stepped up to hand Mariner an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. Arlington haven't had any issues with Mariner recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Arlington's victory bumped their record up to 2-7-1. As for Cascade, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
