Baseball Recap: Eufaula Comes Up Short

Eufaula lost against Verdigris on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Eufaula came up short against Verdigris, falling 8-1. The Ironheads have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eufaula saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Luna, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Luna has posted since back in March of 2024.

Eufaula now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Verdigris, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Eufaula will host Vian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Verdigris, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Verdigris Cardinals challenge Fort Gibson Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. They are facing Fort Gibson at the right time seeing as Fort Gibson is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
