Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hancock). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Gwinn Modeltowners a 16-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.

Hancock now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Gwinn, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Hancock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Calumet on the 28th. As for Gwinn, they will welcome Rapid River at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Modeltowners are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
