Preview: Black Hawk vs. Pecatonica/Argyle
Black Hawk have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Pecatonica/Argyle at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes : the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
Black Hawk were able to grind out a solid win over Potosi/Cassville two weeks ago, winning 14-7.
Meanwhile, Pecatonica/Argyle was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the game and then some with a 49-6 victory last Friday.
Their wins bumped Pecatonica/Argyle to 3-0 and Black Hawk to 2-0. Pecatonica/Argyle's offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Black Hawk defensive front that amassed 7.0 sacks against Potosi/Cassville, so we'll see if they are up to the task.
