Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Patrick walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Loyd Star Hornets on Tuesday. Considering the Fighting Irish have won 15 contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Loyd Star with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Baty (2), Tristan Davis, and John Mattina.

St. Patrick is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine matchups. As for Loyd Star, with the loss, they broke their 15-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-2-2.

As of now, neither St. Patrick nor Loyd Star have any future games scheduled.
