Herscher waltzed into their contest  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Iroquois West Raiders get on the board and left with  a   15-0  victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Anistin Hackley made a splash no matter where she played. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Hackley was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That  stolen base marked the first that  she  snagged this season.
 In other batting news,  RyLyn Adams was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Addy Whitaker, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Herscher was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .529. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .320 or higher in four consecutive  games.
Herscher's win bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Iroquois West, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Looking ahead, Herscher will welcome Wilmington  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Iroquois West, they will square off against Oakwood at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. This will  be the Raiders' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
