Volleyball Recap: Copiague Takes a Loss

Copiague lost against Newfield back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Wolverines.

While Copiague ultimately came up short, they really made Newfield work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-16, 25-15.

Copiague's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Newfield, they moved to 7-6 with that victory, which also ended their four-match losing streak.

Coming up, Copiague will face off against Connetquot at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Newfield, they will challenge Commack at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
