Soccer Recap: Marion Wins Going Away Against East Clarendon

Marion's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the East Clarendon Wolverines as they made off with a 4-1 win. The score was close at halftime, but Marion pulled away in the second half with two goals.

They hit East Clarendon with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Mozeak (2), Diego Herrera, and Kelechi Kamsiyochukwu.

Marion has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-15 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for East Clarendon, they dropped their record down to 4-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, East Clarendon will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Timberland at 5:00 p.m. Marion will be paying especially close attention to the Wolverines' contest: after the Wolverines face off against Wolves, they'll take on Marion again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
