Basketball Game Preview: Spring Valley Academy vs. Meadowdale Lions

Spring Valley Academy and the Meadowdale Lions will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Spring Valley Academy easily dispatched Germantown Christian two weeks ago, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Spring Valley Academy fell just short of Miami Valley by a score of 52-50 last Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Meadowdale was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 46-41 to Miami East. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Spring Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Meadowdale, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
